God Bless Emily Armstrong!!! She called Otoniel's foster mother for us today (she is fluent in Spanish and we are not!). We have the most wonderful information and are so GRATEFUL! Brenda (the foster mother) says he seems to be doing well both emotionally and physically. He's been with her for about 5 months. He sleeps good (although he grinds his teeth) and eats good. He likes to play with cars and plays well with her 8 year old son (Keegan's so excited). She frequently reads the book I made for him that tells him about his new family and new home. She asked him if he would like to come live with us and he said "yes!" Isn't that awesome?!? She said he likes milk and meat! Keegan's a big milk drinker as well. She said he is growing fast and has almost out-grown the size 3's we sent to him in December (they were a little big on him then!). She's working on transitioning him and helping him adjust! It's so great to have a glimpse of him and his life right now. It's also comforting to know he's in a good place and is receiving good care. God is so good!
We went to the Build-A-Bear Workshop before we had received the above wonderful information. That is where "Buddy" was created. Buddy is a bear - built with love - for Otoniel from his new family. When you squeeze his paw, it has all of us, one by one, saying "Hola, Otoniel" - Keegan starting and Greg ending. Then we follow it up with a big "Te Amamos Mucho!" - which means we love you a lot, (all of us saying this together). Of course Keegan picked out his outfit and his name (named after "Air Bud" - "Snow Buddies" being one of Keegan's favorite shows at the moment). Greg said we had to have the shoes to go with the outfit, and Keeley helped dress him! Isn't he a cutie! Of course Keegan and Keeley are pretty dang cute as well! :)

Your kids are precious and I'm very impressed with the bear!
How cool that you got to talk to the foster mom! And it's so comforting to know that he is being taken such good care of. He'll be home soon!! So handsome!

Felicia- Your passion for these kids, not just your own, is contagious. Very much like Christ was with children. Thank you for your love for the children....these kids waiting to come home. Pat
