Friday night Mike (Greg's brother), his wife Sherry and their two girls (Toni & Bailee) came up for the weekend. Toni also brought a friend, Keaton. They usually come to visit Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend each year. They're even talking about coming up for the 4th of July this year!
Saturday we celebrated Keeley's birthday at Grandma Bonnie's and Grandpa Jim's. We had an amazing time! Keeley had lots of fun and enjoyed all of her presents! It's so incredibly hard to believe she is 3 years old!
Keeley opening the gift Keegan got for her.
Keeley grateful for her brother!
Riding her new skooter from Grandma and Grandpa.
Uncle Mike, Bailee and Keegan playing ball in the new baseball diamond Grandpa made!

David returned from Japan on Saturday. It feels great having him near again. He had a great time and was a little tired yesterday when I spoke to him.
Sunday was Graduation Sunday at the school. It's always a little sad to see the seniors go- but it also means summer's almost here! Tradition with the Huffs during Mike and Sherry's visit is to get dinner at a much loved barbecue place in the area. We did that Sunday night and it was delicious.
This morning our company left. The house now seems very empty. Keeley has been wearing her new fairy princess outfit and just looks adorable in it. She's been using her "magic wand" to turn everyone into princesses. Yes, that's right... Mike and Sherry are now actually "Princess" Mike and "Princess" Sherry, and their daughters are princesses as well (as is their friend). It's great to be part of such a royal family!
Now for Adoption News.... Please pray for the Embry's. They have their PGN birth mother interview today. Please pray that this will go smoothly for their daughter Caterin. This must be very hard on older children (she is 8 years old). We're thinking of you Dawn and Dorsey and are keeping your family in our prayers today.
No new news regarding movement in Guatemala. As far as we can tell no one has exited PGN for a couple of weeks. We have yet to enter PGN, so we have not been subjected to the additional birth mother interview. We have not received any updates on Otoniel for a while either. We're missing him terribly and I am counting down the days until I see him (16 days). I'm getting things together for his birthday party in Guatemala. This is Keegan and Keeley modeling the pirate hats and eye patches for the kiddies to wear during his Pirate party. They kept saying "Arggg!" while they had them on!
And last but not least... today is Memorial Day. Please take a few moments to remember those who have fought so bravely for our country and made it what it is today. Thank you to our military men and women (past and present) for all you have done and are doing for us. May God bless you and your families.

Keeley is such a beautiful princess! The pirate hats are awesome! You will have such a great visit trip and birthday party with Otoniel very soon!
Thank you for your prayers!!
The birth mother did not change her mind today. A true answer to prayer. I am also hoping that God protected Caterin from all the trauma she was exposed to today. I hold on to the fact that God loves these children even more than we do. We are privileged to be able to be a part of His plans for them.
Thanks for your friendship! You have been such a blessing to me!

Ok, the pirate hats are hilarious! I would have loved to have heard them saying Arrrgh! So so funny! Tell Keeley happy birthday for me. I can't believe she is 3!
